Option 1: Verification website
Fastest on any phone, tablet, or computer. No app or login needed.
- Open the verification site
- Enter your name and complete the check
Type your name, complete the quick “I am human” check, and click Submit.
- A code appears on your screen
Keep it to yourself. Don’t read it out or send it to anyone.
- Your technician reads it back
A genuine technician can see your code on our side. If what they read matches exactly, you’re talking to us.
Option 2: Text message
Works from your mobile phone and logs the result in your ticket.
- Save our verification number
Add (262) 800-7992 to your contacts as “TeamLogic IT N. Milwaukee Technician Verification” so you’ll always recognize it.
- Text
#verifyWhen someone calls claiming to be from our service desk, send the message
#verifyto that number. - You both get the same code
Within seconds you’ll receive a random 6-digit code. Your technician receives the same code in their ticket.
- Your technician reads it to you
They should read the code out loud. Compare it to the one on your phone.
- Reply
#confirmif it matchesSend
#confirmin the same conversation. You’ll get a message that the technician verification was completed, and it’s logged in your ticket.
Code doesn’t match? Don’t send #confirm. Hang up, then contact our service desk directly or start the process again.
Option 3: Microsoft Teams
- Open the TeamLogic IT app in Teams
Find our app in your Teams sidebar.
- Click “Tickets”
This opens your support page in Teams.
- Click “Verify Technician”
A code will pop up on your screen and is sent to your technician.
- Your technician repeats the code
If they read back the same code, you’re verified.
Option 4: Client Portal
- Sign in to the Client Portal
Go to tlitnmke.mspprocess.net.
- Click “Verify Technician”
A code will pop up on your screen.
- Your technician reads out the code
If they can’t, hang up and contact us right away using a number you already have.
If something doesn’t match, stop
If the caller can’t read back your code, gets it wrong, asks you to read the code to them, or pressures you to skip verification:
- Don’t allow remote access, install anything, or share any information.
- Hang up or end the chat.
- Contact us using a phone number or email you already have: the green TeamLogic IT icon in your system tray, or support@teamlogicitnmilwaukee.com. Never use contact details the caller gives you.
One rule covers it: on the website, Teams, and Client Portal, we read your code back to you. With text verification, we both receive the code and the technician reads it to you. Either way, you never need to read a technician verification code to the caller.
